The villages in the Bran-Moeciu-Fundata-Sirnea area are situated on the road to Transylvania in the Bârsa Land. The Bârsa Land is a vast plateau crossed by the river with the same name and surrounded by the Bârsa, Bucegi, Ciucaș, and Piatra Craiului Mountains. An area of high folkloristic and ethnographic interest, the  Bran-Moeciu-Fundata-Sirnea area has successfully developed all-seasons rural tourism in the past few years.
